Speaking Task Instruction in English Textbook: Bahasa Inggris for Grade X

چکیده

This article aims to analyse the task instruction of speaking tasks in an English student’s book for grade X that Balitbang Kemdikbud publishes. As first edition textbook, some inaccuracies might be found especially related instruction. is descriptive research with checklist evaluation as instrument research. The consists six sub-indicators. Four evaluators, teachers who use book, fulfilled evaluation. Based on findings, chapters have salience instruction, seven succinct instructions, eight sufficient standardised and all sequence also textbook has a clear target task. In short, already fulfils criteria good However, several need revised.
